WorkplaceFirst Aid – Intermediate Level (16h) – CSA Z1210-17 Compliant
Upon successful completion of this 16-hour IN-PERSON intermediate-level first aid training, the candidate will receive a valid certification that meets the requirements of 'Intermediate First Aid Training' as defined in the CSA Z1210-17 standard.
Early ChildhoodFirst Aider – Early Childhood (8h)
This training is specially designed for educators in childcare settings. Paraguay's Labour Code (Law No. 213/93) and Decree 14390/92 require employers to safeguard workers' safety and health by providing first-aid means — a risk-appropriate kit and personnel trained to administer it — with no fixed numeric first-aider ratio.
In Paraguay, CEBINFA centres under the Ministry of Public Health (MSPBS) provide comprehensive care with continuously trained staff including basic care and first aid, though exact training hours and refresher intervals are not published.
Paraguay's Penal Code (Law No. 1160/97), art. 117 "Omisión de auxilio" imposes a duty to save another from death or considerable injury when able to do so without personal risk, where the bystander was present or their help was directly and personally requested.
In Paraguay nursing practice is registered with the Dirección General de Control de Profesiones (MSPBS), and while basic life support and CPR are expected competencies, registry renewal requires only an ID card and judicial background check with no continuing-education credit requirement.
Homes and residences for older adults in Paraguay must have care staff able to provide first aid and CPR, and the official SNPP/MSPyBS elderly-caregiver course (100 h) explicitly includes a first-aid module while a standalone recognized certificate is valued outside it.
Paraguay's Programa de Familia Acogedora, run by the Ministerio de la Niñez y la Adolescencia (MINNA) through the Dirección General de Cuidados Alternativos, involves an assessment and training process, and while no rule expressly requires a first-aid certificate, current first-aid and CPR training is commonly expected for a child's daily care.
Online CPR and first aid training is recognized in Paraguay, with Decree 14390/92 requiring prevention information and training without prescribing a format while the hands-on component stays in person.
