First Aid & CPR Paraguay
Being a foster family in Paraguay means temporarily providing a safe, caring environment to a child or teenager separated from their family, until their situation is resolved. The process includes assessment and training; being ready to respond to an emergency — with first aid and CPR — is part of responsible care.
In Paraguay, the Programa de Familia Acogedora is run by the Ministerio de la Niñez y la Adolescencia (MINNA), through the Dirección General de Cuidados Alternativos, within the national alternative-care and adoption programme. Families take part in an assessment process (forms, interviews and psychological tests) and in training. No rule has been identified that expressly requires a first-aid certificate, but current first-aid and CPR training is commonly expected for the daily care of a minor.
Support and supervision are handled by MINNA. A first-aid and CPR certificate is in addition to — not a replacement for — the suitability assessment and the caregiving abilities required, and it should be kept current.
我们严格遵循 ILCOR(International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation)的建议,该国际机构负责对全球复苏标准进行科学评估与制定。
